Normally quite well attended in the Arc.
Last time I went had a terrible headache for days afterwards.

Stockton itself is a horrible place now. The best and biggest high st and market in the country ruined some years back and replaced by pedestrian areas and new empty shopng blocks. More charity shops than anything else.
Still plenty of pubs though.

To me , what's made Stockton a horrible place now is the chavs/yobs.
Can't go into the town thru the day without some low life badgering you for money. As for the night time , i gave up on that years ago. it just aint safe

That's such a shame, used to be a great place massive high st. (widest in the country) and a market to nearly rival that of Doncaster's in it's heyday. Incidentally the market in Donny is also suffering the same fate.
Why do we wreck our national and local treasures supposedly in the name of progress ? It saddens me no end, my town has been 'ripped to shreds' since the mid 1960's.

I think Stockton has suiffered teribly over the years although the Riverside looks quite nice.
The chavs begging over there seem to have moved from Boro since a clampdown.
